In the gubernatorial election, Damariscotta picked Democratic U.S. Rep Mike Michaud with 575 votes, incumbent Republican Gov. LePage had 491 votes and Independent Eliot Cutler had 81 votes.
In the race between incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins and Democratic challenger Shenna Bellows for Maine’s U.S. senate seat, Damariscotta residents picked Collins with 694 votes to Bellows’s 439 votes.
In the District 1 congressional race, incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep Chellie Pingree had 734 votes, Republican Isaac Misiuk had 319 votes, Independent Richard Murphy had 357 votes.
In the State Senator District 13 race, incumbent Democratic State Sen. Chris Johnson had 660 votes, and Republican Les Fossel had 456 votes.
In the District 90 representative to the legislature race, Democrat Mick Devin had 651 votes and Republican Anna Morkeski had 428 votes.
In the District Attorney race, Democrat David Sinclair received 539 votes, while incumbent Republican Geoffrey Rushlau received 479 votes.
