Danial T. Rogers, 45, died unexpectedly at his home in Edgecomb on April 29, 2020.

He was born Jan. 21, 1975 in Boothbay Harbor to William L. Rogers Sr. and Marie Granger Rogers. Danial grew up and attended local schools in the Boothbay region.

Danial worked as a self-employed lobsterman for many years and later worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was the most patient man and loved children. He was a great father as well as a son, brother, uncle and friend. He was well known for his jolly way, and he loved to put a smile on people’s faces. He was kind, fun, and family-oriented. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, hunting, music, building engines, muscle cars and reading. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, William L. Rogers Sr. and Marie Rogers of New Vineyard; son, Royce Rogers of New Vineyard; grandmother Betty Rogers of Wiscasset; daughter, Corinne Rogers of Edgecomb; brother, Bill Rogers and his spouse Kalina Provost of Edgecomb and nephew Brody; sister, Kelly Adams and her spouse Chad Murray of Boothbay; nephew, Daniel; nieces, Jess, Jennifer (A.J. Nelson) and Lynnette and (Jim Mayotte); great niece, Natalie Mayotte; great nephews, Cameron and Gabriel Mayotte

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at the Knights of Pythias Hall, 64 Lakeside Drive, Boothbay Harbor at a later date to be announced.
