David A. Lord
David A. Lord, 60, of Port Richey, Florida died June 2, 2017 surrounded by close friends and family.
He was born on November 13, 1956 at Loring AFB, Limestone Maine, the son of Richard S. Lord Sr. and Pauline Allen. David graduated from Rockland High School in 1976.
He worked in the construction field and was working towards his journeyman's license as an electrician.
David liked the outdoors and played softball and tennis throughout his life. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Music was a passion, he felt at home on the beach and found a certain spirituality out on the water. He enjoyed cooking at gatherings with family and friends and had unique culinary skills.
David's work eventually led him to Florida where he continued perfecting his trade.
He was an active member with the Salvation Army Church where he developed many close friendships, additionally, he had a positive influence with the direction of others in need.
One of the many friends made on his journey through life was with "Mike" who taught David the fine art of cabinetry installation.
His favorite location to relax was the Sand Bar, where you could find him with a great group of friends and fellow workers.
David is survived by brothers, Bobby Lord of Biddeford, Jerry Lord of Boothbay, and Jeff Lord of Vassalboro; and sisters, Patty Lord of Florida and Cheryl O'Connell of Saco. He is also survived by a daughter, Nicole; and son, Anthony, His extended family includes Pat Morris and daughter Nikki.
There will be a Celebration of Life for David at the Salvation Army Church on 66th St. Street, Petersburg Florida.
