Deanna F. Farrin
Deanna Farmer Farrin, 81, died Nov. 22, 2022, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine
She was born Dec. 29, 1940 in East Boothbay Maine, the daughter of Thurlow A. Farmer and Ruth A. (Orne) Farmer.
Dee graduated from Boothbay Region High School, Class of 1959 where she was an athlete.
On July 4, 1959 she married the love of her life and best friend, Milton W. Farrin. They settled in South Portland and then relocated to their lifelong home in Portland in 1965.
Dee was active in community service and was a Jaycee Wives member for many years. She worked in property management at Northfield Green in Portland, LL Bean, and retired from the Portland School Dept.
She enjoyed being on or near the ocean whenever possible and loved to camp.
Deanna was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Milton; her three daughters, Heidi Farrin, Tami Dawn F. Reynolds and her husband, Paul, and Jodi Rae F. Antonowicz and her husband, Timothy, all of Gorham; her grandchildren, Daniel J. Hanson and his fiance, Katie Corbett of Gray, Cynthia D. Reynolds of Gorham, Farrin L. Hanson of Gorham, Nicholas P. Reynolds and his wife, Ashleigh A. Heaton of Astoria, New York; one brother, Harry A. Farmer and his wife, Jackie of Florida; and many nephews, nieces, and close friends.
The family would like to thank The Gosnell House of Scarborough for the loving care and support we received while there.
Visiting hours will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Dolby Blais & Segee 434 River Road, Windham, Maine.
A Celebration of Life to follow 6-8 p.m. at The Old Robie School, 668 Gray Road, Gorham, Maine.
A graveside prayer and burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Boothbay at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec 3.
