Savory Maine of Damariscotta is beginning its December music series featuring local musicians. Every Thursday and Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., musicians from around the Midcoast will entertain and charm diners at Savory Maine. This month two performers will have their Savory Maine debuts!

Here's the musical lineup: On December 5 is Sylvia Tavares and Tom Arter; December 7 is Bob White; December 12 is The Rusty Hinges; December 14 is Heather Hardy and Nancy Sferra; December 19 is Gary McCue's debut at Savory Maine; December 21 is Bruce Hardina; December 26 is Jeff Herbster's debut; and on December 28 Kathi Nordone rounds out the month's entertainment with Texas flair.

Savory Maine serves lunch and dinner every day but Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, brunch and dinner. The dining room is available for private events and classes in the morning and all day Wednesday.

Come for a bowl of chowder, a burger, a beer, a cup of tea, dessert or a full meal. The restaurant sources most of its food from Maine and essentially all of it is organically grown or wild harvested. Come in and enjoy what Maine has to offer as we collectively build a sustainable food system one delicious bite at a time.
