Detective sergeant promotion at the Sheriff’s Office
Detective Ronald Rollins was recently promoted to the rank of Detective Sergeant.
Rollins assumed his current duties in an “appointed” capacity as detective sergeant in April 2013. This recent process makes the previous appointment an official promotion.
Rollins is directly responsible for supervising the daily investigative duties of the three other detectives within the Criminal Investigation Division while continuing to carry his own full case load.
“I am very pleased to make this announcement. Det. Sgt. Rollins has proven himself to be an excellent investigator and a fine supervisor,” said Sheriff Todd Brackett.
Rollins is a life-time resident of Lincoln County and a graduate of Erskine Academy. He holds an associate degree in criminal justice from Southern Maine Community College and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Southern Maine. He began his career as deputy sheriff with Lincoln County in 2000 and was promoted to detective in 2004.
The men and women of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office congratulate Rollins and wish him the very best.
