Becoming a therapy dog team is a rewarding volunteer activity for everyone involved. Join Professional Dog Trainer Jean Conte for a six-session class sponsored by Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center in Damariscotta and held at The Lincoln Home, 22 River Road in Newcastle, each Thursday at 5 p.m. beginning on Dec. 11 and continuing through Jan. 29 (no class Christmas and New Year’s Day.

For dogs who haven’t received their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification Conte is offering a six-week class which will also begin on Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.
