September 10 is your chance to vote on the budgets for the town of Wiscasset and the Sheepscot Valley Regional School Unit.

Wiscasset Town Clerk Chris Wolfe said so far today’s turnout is much better than expected for a special election.

Polls will be open until 8 p.m. at the Wiscasset Community Center and until 2 p.m. at the Alna Town office.

On Westport Island, polls are open from noon to 8 p.m.
