Dow Furniture partners with Community Energy Fund
Building on a tradition of community support, Dow Furniture, a household name in Waldoboro since 1955, proudly announces its latest contribution of $1,350 to the Community Energy Fund. This donation, derived from a portion of the store's Presidents' Day Sale revenue, will aid the Fund in providing essential energy assistance to Lincoln County families facing hardship.
Wilmot Dow, general manager and the third generation in the business, emphasizes the company's foundational commitment to the community, “As a family-owned local business, we place a great emphasis on serving our community and supporting organizations that make a positive impact, such as the Community Energy Fund. Our commitment to serving our customers extends to serving our community, and we are proud to partner with local organizations like the Community Energy Fund to help families in need”.
The Community Energy Fund of Lincoln County has been providing fuel assistance to families who don’t qualify for state or federal heating assistance programs for over 19 years.
