Dresden nomination papers due April 25

Would you like to serve the town of Dresden as an elected official? Nomination papers are available in Dresden for the following offices:
- Third Selectman, Assessor and Overseer of the Poor, three-year term;
- Treasurer, Property Tax Collector, Excise Tax Collector, Town Clerk, all one-year terms;
- One Budget Review Committee Member, three-year term;
- One RSU School Director, three-year term.
Papers must be returned to the town clerk with at least 25 and no more than 100 signatures by 1 p.m. on Friday, April 25.
Town Clerk Kim Rzasa has decided not to seek reelection for her positions as clerk, treasurer and excise tax collector. After 17 years at the town office, this was a difficult decision to make, said Rzasa. However, after careful consideration, Rzasa said the time has come to step aside.
