On Easter Sunday, March 27, the Second Congregational Church, UCC in Newcastle invites all community children and their families to an Easter egg hunt following the 10 a.m. worship service to which everyone is invited.

The joyful celebration of Easter will continue during fellowship hour with a traditional Easter egg hunt in the Veteran's Memorial Park adjacent to the church. It will begin at approximately 11:20 a.m. Adults may visit and enjoy refreshments and watch the children gather eggs filled with surprises. Easter bags will be provided or children may bring their own baskets. Should the weather not cooperate, the hunt will be held inside the church.
