Edgecomb Veterans Banner Project family search
Are any of the names on the following list familiar?
Are they names of relatives or friends who are deceased?
Do you still have contact with their living family members?
Would you be willing to contact them for information?
Why do I ask? The names on these cemetery lists are of deceased U.S. veterans from World War II to present who served our country to protect our freedoms.
American Legion Post 36 in Boothbay wants to honor these veterans, deceased and living, with a picture banner that will be displayed along Route 27 from the junction of Route 1 around the entire Boothbay region (Edgecomb, Boothbay, East Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport), from Memorial Day until Veterans Day, each year for three years. We need you help to honor these veterans. If you wish to help honor your family and friends’ veterans, please have them contact me: Joel Morley, town of Edgecomb banner representative, at 207-798-1288 or Jmorley1@roadrunner.com. I will forward the requested information.
