Eleanor Taylor
On the evening of Oct. 9, 2019, Eleanor Taylor passed away peacefully at home after a short illness.
Ellie was born to Paul and Sophie Paoletti on June 28, 1935. She grew up in Terryville, Connecticut with her sisters Rosemary and Sandra. After graduating from Terryville High School, Ellie took a job with Bell Telephone Company as an operator. She married USMC Msgt. Richard Duprey and to that union were born Rick and Paula.
Through the years Ellie was employed by the Farmington answering service, Standard Structural Steel, Fenn Manufacturing, and Guida Dairy.
In 1985 she married David Taylor and they enjoyed 33 happy years together. After retirement they relocated to Maine, where they enjoyed spending time with many good friends in the quaint coastal town of Boothbay Harbor. After David’s death in 2018, Ellie moved to Butte, Montana to live with her son Rick.
Ellie loved life and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her sister Sandra Bullard; her son Rick (Michaela) Duprey; daughter Paula (Liz Webb) Duprey; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; niece Kim Fallon; and nephews Paul and Ray Konapaske.
A service will be held for Ellie at 2 p.m. Oct. 19, Butte Evangelical Free Church, 2210 Florence Avenue.
