Emily W. Johnson, 93, of Damariscotta, died Oct. 8, 2017 at the Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor after a period of declining health.

Born on Jan. 7, 1924 in Waco, Texas, she was the daughter of Robert and Mildred Wilford and wife of the late Arthur Johnson.

A service to remember Emily will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street in Damariscotta, with the Rev. Richard Newell officiating.
