Rising Tide Co-op is excited to share that we will be opening our doors earlier beginning Friday, June 1. For all of you morning commuters and early birds, the Co-op will now be opening at 7:30 a.m. We are excited to make our amazing local foods and products available to our community at an earlier hour!  
 
Also on the 1st, the Co-op will be charging 50¢ for the large paper bags with handles and 5¢ for all plastic bags. This news comes as Rising Tide Co-op moves to replace all plastic containers in our produce and bakery departments with compostable containers.

As part of the “Shifting the Tide” sustainability initiative that Rising Tide Co-op has recently adopted, moving away from single-use plastics has been a priority among other eco-friendly measures. Remember you can receive a 25¢ rebate for each reusable container you use while shopping at the co-op!
 
Rising Tide Co-op is a natural food cooperative with 4,000+ member-owners located at 323 Main St. in Damariscotta. The co-op will NOW be open from 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily starting June 1.
