Explore Boston “Burbs” at The Lincoln Home
Come exploring north, south and west of Boston with Freeport’s Michael Perry at The Lincoln Home on Monday, Jan. 25, from 3 to 4 p.m.
Perry will talk about the birthplace of the Baldwin Apple in Wilmington, the cranberry fields of Carver, the colorful botanical gardens of Wellesley, the commanding heights of Fort Revere in Hull, the historic Crane Estate in Ipswich, the romantic Wayside Inn in Sudbury, the wave-splashed Minot’s Ledge Light off Cohasset, the Lifesaving Station at Nahant, and other locations. We will explore many of the natural wonders and historic venues that make the greater Boston suburbs such a special place to live.
The Lincoln Home is located at 22 River Road, Newcastle. For more information on our free events open to the public, contact our Director of Community Life, Rhonda Hanna, 563-3350.
