First National Bank donates to local food pantries

First National Bank recently announced donations totaling $15,000 to food banks in its market area.
“First National Bank is grateful for the critical services that our food banks provide to our neighbors in need,” remarked President and CEO Tony C. McKim. “As a Maine community bank, it is our goal to respond to the needs of these vital organizations that serve and help families put food on the table.”
Help Yourself Shelf and Wiscasset Food Pantry were recipients. Help Yourself Shelf is at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. The pantry is open Thursdays at 5 p.m. For more information, call 882-7184. Wiscasset Food Pantry is at the Church of the Nazarene and is open Sundays from 12:30 to 1 p.m. For more information, call 882-9088.
