The Garden Club of Wiscasset held its annual meeting at Maine Tasting Center, 506 Old Bath Road, Wiscasset, June 1. Members enjoyed a delightful tea and a delicious array of food. In attendance was Judith Tarbox, the Medomak District director.

 

President Lisa Feeman welcomed everyone and presented the Thomas and Lansdale Gardiner silver bowl to club member Beth Maxwell. This prestigious award recognizes a club member who has generously shared garden skills and related knowledge. Members then voted on the executive committee slate for 2023-2024: President, Jan Flowers; Vice President, Robin Grant; Recording Secretary, Canny Cahn; Corresponding Secretary, Debbie Lorenson; and Treasurer, Ann Light.

 

Members will be busy over the summer helping to maintain gardens in Bath, Dresden and Wiscasset.
