The Lincoln County Republican Committee is presenting a public forum on Referendum Question 2, Medicaid Expansion in Maine. The speakers will be Senator Dana Dow, Representative Deborah Sanderson, Representative Jeff Hanley, and Sam Adolphsen, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Government Accountability. The speakers will discuss costs and funding of the proposed expansion Medicaid in Maine, the results of a similar Medicaid expansion in 2002, how the expansion will affect individual Maine residents, and the federal government's role. Time will be allotted to address audience questions after the presentations have ended.  

All who wish to be informed voters will be welcomed. The forum will be held at the Skidompha Library Porter Meeting Hall, 184 Main Street, Damariscotta on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m.
