The Garden Club of Wiscasset will begin its monthly meetings starting on Sept. 2 at First Congregational Church, 28 High St. in Wiscasset. Flower design practice is at 11:30 a.m. with a Pave Design theme. Business meeting is at 12:30 p.m. Our program at 1 p.m. is “All About Kennebec Estuary Land Trust,” presented by Becky Kolak.
KELT is committed to conserving land and wildlife habitat of the Lower Kennebec and Sheepscot River estuaries. Kolak manages KELT’s education, stewardship, and restoration programs. The public is invited free of charge to Thursday’s program. Masks are required.
