Gavin James Clark, 15, of West Alna Road, Alna died Oct. 10, 2015 at his residence.

He was born in Damariscotta on Oct. 22, 1999, a son of Angelique D. Delano and James R. Clark.

He attended Wiscasset schools and was currently a sophomore at Wiscasset High School.

He enjoyed skateboarding, biking and performing stunts on his scooter. He loved canoeing on his farm pond with his brother and his friends. He also loved spending time with his family, laughing and enjoying life.

He is survived by his mother, Angelique D. Delano of Alna; his father, James R. Clark Jr. of Barters Island; his brother, Mason R. Clark of Alna; maternal grandmother, Debra Churchill of Alna; paternal grandmother, Pauline Brewer of Wiscasset; maternal great-grandparents, Wes and Sandra Winters of Wiscasset; five uncles, Keith Delano of Vermont, Bradley Churchill of Woolwich, Matthew Churchill of Alna, Donnie Clark of Edgecomb and Nathan Brewer of Wiscasset; one aunt, Heather Leeman of West Bath; and many cousins, great aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Jeffrey Delano, and paternal grandfather, James R. Clark Sr.

A celebration of his life will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Wiscasset Community Center in Wiscasset.
