Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: Two arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 293 calls for service for the period of Jan. 14 to Jan. 21. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 864 calls for service.
Arrests
Olivia Morrison, 29, of Bristol was arrested Jan. 14 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Red Oak Lane, Bristol, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Felicia Giles, 44, of Edgecomb was arrested Jan. 15 for Domestic Violence Assault; Violating Condition of Release x 2; Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention and two Lincoln County warrants for Failure to Appear on Stalking charge and Violating Condition of Release charge, on Hisler Mountain Road, Somerville, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Accidents
On Jan. 16, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Jefferson involving Nicole G. Fallon, 40, of Waldoboro and Roxy L. Lafrance, 43, of Jefferson. Ms. Lafrance was operating her 2023 Toyota 4Runner northbound and was preparing to make a left turn onto Eames Road. Lafrance was stopped in the roadway and started to make the turn, however, had to stop due to traffic travelling southbound. When Lafrance stopped the second time, Ms. Fallon struck her in the rear with her 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 17, an accident occurred on Academy Hill Road in Newcastle involving Jose R. Fuentes, 45, of Newcastle and Hilary R. Braley, 37, of Westport. Mr. Fuentes was stopped at the Mills Road stop sign in his 2025 Acura MDX and proceeded to make a right hand turn onto Academy Hill Road. Fuentes did not see Ms. Braley’s 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, who was traveling north on Business Route 1 and merging onto Academy Hill Road. As a result, Fuentes struck Braley’s vehicle, resulting in reportable damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 17, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Whitefield involving Frank Pollard, 54, of Waldoboro. Mr. Pollard was operating his 2013 Toyota Corolla eastbound when he stated he looked down at his phone for directions and lost control of his vehicle. As a result, he went off the roadway to the left and into a nearby ditch. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 18, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Roy A. Benner, 69, of Bremen. Mr. Benner was operating his 2018 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and struck his vehicle on the driver’s side. Sgt. Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 20, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Brian R. Worthley, 45, of Bath. Mr. Worthley was operating his 2020 Ford Transit van southbound when he lost control of his vehicle. As a result, his vehicle crossed the centerline, left the roadway on the left side and struck a fence, before he regained control and returned to the paved road surface. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
