The Learning Center at Boothbay Region Adult Ed will begin the fall semester on Thursday, Sept. 24, 6:15-8:15 p.m. Prep to take the HiSET high school equivalency diploma, improve your English, math, science, and social studies skills for college, or improve your literacy. All services at the Learning Center are offered for free and there is no fee to take the HiSET test. The Learning Center is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Did you know people with a high school diploma can expect to earn $10,000 more per year than someone without a diploma? Having a high school equivalency diploma can open doors to college, new job opportunities and careers. Are you thinking of going to college or returning to finish your degree? The Learning Center also provides help with academic skills in preparation for college placement tests.
