Heroin found in Pittston mobile home
Maine State Police say three people have been arrested following a burglary last month at Cousin’s Sawmill on Route 105 in Windsor.
The three arrests took place Tuesday in Pittston. Stolen from the sawmill on Aug. 25 were numerous boots, chainsaws and money with a total value of $4,000.
After checking with local and county agencies, State Police teamed up with detectives from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office who were covering a similar burglary at NC Hunt Lumber Company in Jefferson.
The two agencies developed a suspect and Tuesday State Police arrested 23-year-old Jake Pillsbury, who is a transient from the Jefferson area. At the time of his arrest Pillsbury was driving a stolen minivan out of Massachusetts. The van was stopped along Route 27 in Pittston.
Tuesday evening troopers and deputies conducted a search of a mobile home at 158 Wiscasset Road in Pittston where heroin and other narcotics were located. Arrested from that residence were Coty Norton-Perry, 26, for possession of stolen property and 26-year-old Brandi Grady for endangering the welfare of a child. Both Norton-Perry and Grady live in the mobile home.
Information gained from that search led Troopers to Jefferson where a large amount of the stolen property was located, including laptops stolen from a school in Monson, Massachusetts.
Troopers are working with Massachusetts police on that case and charges are likely.
