The Wiscasset Historic Preservation meeting met briefly on July 5. There were no certificates of appropriateness scheduled.

Members discussed attending a couple of possible preservation workshops being held by the Maine Historic Preservation Commission, and looked at possible changes to the Wiscasset ordinance based on recommendations of the state commission. Chair John Reinhardt recommended members look at the other towns’ ordinances including Brunswick’s and Castine’s before the next meeting.
