Historic New England is coming to the children’s room at Wiscasset Library. Join us as we combine storytime with hands-on activities to introduce children ages 5 to 10 to ideas about New England’s history. The event will be held Friday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Historic New England youth programs make history fun for even the youngest child. We share a love of books, just as the famous author Sarah Orne Jewett did over 100 years ago. Her stories and inspiration are preserved in our historic house museum in South Berwick.

We’ll get creative with “Miss Rumphius” by New England author Barbara Cooney and take a fun look at springtime in a seaside village.
