Homecoming king and queen crowned; more events this weekend
Wiscasset Homecoming Queen Kayla Gordon and King Joshua Hodgdon were crowned Saturday, Sept. 20.
Homecoming activities will be in full force Saturday, Sept. 27, starting with an 8 a.m. pancake breakfast hosted by the Boosters club, and continuing with the classes decorating bleachers at noon, then continuing with a tailgate party in the back parking lot at the school from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at which time the middle school will have a soccer game at the upper field.
After the tailgate party, the boosters’ vintage auction will start at 3 p.m.
Then Gordon will hold court in goal at 4 p.m. when the girls varsity team takes on Monmouth.
The boys will host Monmouth at 6 p.m., then there will be a bonfire after the game.
