I am on a roll, got the time of town meeting wrong. The selectmen and Amy decided to start at 10 a.m. That's good; Nationwide race is usually on Saturday afternoon. I would hate to miss it and know some folks in Alna who feel the same way.

To you guys and gals who like to go smelting and ice fishing, be careful this thawing and refreezing does not make for safe ice. If you go leave your children home, you wouldn't want to take a chance of losing them. Children get excited and don't watch where they are running, makes for accidents.
