Come and see what the high school drama kids have been up to as they present a comedy entitled, “Hard Candy,” by Jonathan Rand, on Wednesday, February 5. The 40-minute one act takes a hilarious look at how to secure a job by having just the right interview.

Play synopsis from Playscripts, “Job applicants at Banff Enterprises will do anything to claw their way up the corporate ladder. In a fast-paced series of hilarious interviews, the new recruits try every trick in the book — from bribery, nepotism, the Old Boy Network, blackmail, seduction and mind control.”

Chicken vegetable and the Hoecker's Taco Soup are on the menu with a dreamy corn chowder. Soups will be served with salad and bread and then a lil' something sweet to top it all off.

This fun evening starts at 6 p.m. with dinner in the Boothbay Region High School cafeteria. The play follows immediately after in the high school auditorium.

Boothbay Region High School is located at 236 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.
