Indictments
A Lincoln County grand jury has indicted two Wiscasset men on charges they burglarized two local homes in February.
Ronald E. Williams Jr., 41, and Tylor Miller, 18, are each charged with two counts of burglary and theft they allegedly committed on or about February 12 in Wiscasset.
The indictments allege Williams took metal from both properties. Miller allegedly took metal from one of the properties and jewelry and copper from the other.
The two men acted together in committing the crimes, Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline said May 20.
The grand jury also indicted Williams on a charge that he refused to submit to arrest February 12, and on a charge that he violated a condition of his release.
Williams was convicted on two earlier theft charges June 27, 2012 in West Bath District Court, according to court documents.
Wiscasset police first learned of the two break-ins while investigating a suspicious fire at a shed in the Mountain View Trailer Park on Birch Point Road February 11.
The Maine State Fire Marshal's Office has been investigating the fire, Cline said.
No update on the fire investigation was immediately available.
