'Jack and the Beanstalk' first young audiences theater production
Maine State Music Theatre presents “Jack and the Beanstalk” on the Pickard stage Wednesday, June 15, at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and a special showing on Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. Children of all ages are welcome at MSMT’s Theatre for Young Audience shows.
The beloved children’s tale follows a young boy named Jack who is forced to sell his only pal, Angus the Cow. In this fractured fairy-tale filled with bovine best friends, imprisoned harpists, hungry mothers, pining giant spouses, rapidly descending behemoths and a boy whose dreams are as big as the sky, we learn that if you believe, anything is possible.
Regular MSMT Director/Choreographer Marc Robin and MSMT Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark created book, lyrics, and music for this production. Clark himself will be directing and choreographing the show.
Ticket prices range from $10-$15. Tickets are available online at www.msmt.org, over the phone by calling (207) 725-8769, or in person by visiting the Box Office located at in the Pickard Theater at 1 Bath Road, Brunswick. Visit www.msmt.org for more information.
