John McCormack died peacefully on Sunday June 23, 2013 at the Auburn Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday June 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Simmons Harrington and Hall Funeral Home, 975 Wiscasset Road, Boothbay. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 82 Atlantic Ave., Boothbay Harbor.
