Following his first show at Hirschl & Adler Modern last fall, Wiscasset artist and antiques dealer John Sideli has been busy during the long cold months of Maine’s winter. He's been creating a series of small works, miniatures, object poems, cosmic and vintage toys for an online show called, “Small Wonders”: A World of Wit & Whimsy.”

Working with antique tools and evocative curiosities and fragments of all kinds, Sideli has created 25 works that will be featured in this, his first online show.

“Small Wonders” will consist of small free-standing sculptures as well as wall pieces. Works will be priced form $500 to $2,500.

The show opens on March 28 at 10 a.m. and closes March 31 at 6 p.m.

Photos of the works are posted on his website, www.johnsidedlifineart.com. The works will be on view at John Sideli Fine Art gallery, located at 43 Middle Street in Wiscasset from March 21 through March 31 daily, noon to 5 p.m.
