Sen. Chris Johnson (D-Somerville) will hold his monthly in-district office hours on Saturday, Sept. 14, in three locations.

From 8 to 9 a.m., he will be at the Village Café and Bakery on Friendship Street in Waldoboro, at the Maine Coast Book Shop Café in Damariscotta from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and at Treats in Wiscasset from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

These office hours, or listening sessions, are being held by Johnson to give residents the opportunity to conveniently voice their opinions and concerns directly to him.

“We are getting legislation ready for the next session,” Johnson said. “It will be good to hear people’s ideas and get their thoughts.” 

Sen. Johnson represents Senate District 20, the Midcoast region. In the Maine Legislature, he is the chairman of the Marine Resources Committee and serves on the Education and Government Oversight Committees.
