Join the Dinner Dance Sept. 21
Wonderful food and music will be provided to those who attend the Boothbay Food & Music Festival’s Dinner Dance at the Boothbay Harbor Country Club on Friday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 10 p.m.
This is a fun-filled evening for a great cause! Proceeds benefit the Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund, Boothbay Region Community Resources Council and Boothbay Region YMCA.
Here is what is being offered:
Stationary hors d’œuvre (assorted imported & local cheeses, housemade pickled vegetables, assorted sliced meats, assorted olives with sliced baguettes, crackers, and crostini),
Passed hors d’oeuvre (steamed shrimp cocktail with a spicy cocktail sauce, arugula tapenade on crostini with parmesan reggiano, cashew-crusted chicken with a buttermilk chive dip, lobster risotto cakes with a tarragon aioli, gorgonzola topped with a mango pepper jelly in pastry cups)
Raw bar and grill station: Damariscotta oysters shucked to order with traditional accompaniments, smoked seafood charcuterie: smoked mussels, smoked trout, and smoked mackerel horseradish mousse, steamed shrimp with a traditional cocktail sauce chipotle-grilled shrimp with a grilled pineapple dipping sauce; grilled & sliced beef tenderloin apple horseradish cream, sliced breasts of turkey, grilled vegetables, duckfat roasted potatoes, assorted sliced breads & rolls;
Desserts: Churchill special chocolate torte with seasonal berries and sorbet, and assorted housemade cookies and squares
A full beverage service is also included.
