Take a "Journey to Bethlehem" this weekend at Boothbay Baptist Church and experience the dramatic story of one very special night when Christ was born.

Your journey begins inside the church where participants will enjoy music before heading outside for a guided walking tour as a traveler heading to Bethlehem for the Roman census who discovers the miracle birth of the Messiah. You will meet a rabbi, a Roman soldier, a shepherd, and more in the dramatic walk, keeping warm by fire pits and drinking hot cocoa, after which you are invited back inside to the Fellowship Hall for a complimentary hot meal.

The event takes place both Saturday and Sunday nights, Nov. 24 and 25, from 5:30-7:30 at Boothbay Baptist Church, across from the Common. Come and bring the family for any length of time and enjoy celebrating "the reason for the season.
