The Kefauver Studio & Gallery, Damariscotta, presents “6 x 6”, the sixth art show of the 2017 season at the gallery. The show will run from Oct. 13 through Nov. 12. Meet the artists at a reception to be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and there is free parking.

The show features new work by oil painter Will Kefauver, and the work of 17 guest artists. All of the art in the show has an image size of 6” x 6” and each artist is presenting 6 of their images. The art is small in size but big in impact! Kefauver enjoys bringing guest artists to his gallery. ”I love this small, square format and I’m always intrigued to see what other creatives come up with,” he said.

Three of the guest artists are new to the gallery. They are oil painters Beth Badger and Lisa Kyle, and photographer Sherie Lehman. The 14 returning guest artists are mixed-media artist Judy Bernier; artist Helen Warner, whose piece is created with ink on Yupo paper; photographers Claudia Noyes Griffiths and Laurie Raba; acrylic painters Virginia Forrest, Hanna Ineson, DiTa Ondek, and Betsy Palmer; oil painters Sandra Dunn, Sally Loughridge, Brooke Pacy, and Carol Wiley; watercolorist Jan Kilburn; and artist Deena Ball, who works in both watercolor and oil.
