Knox-Lincoln Extension Association to meet at Morris Farm
Morris Farm in Wiscasset will host the Knox-Lincoln County Extension Association annual meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at 156 Gardiner Road.
Morris Farm board president and University of Maine Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Merry Fossel will lead a farm tour, followed by refreshments and open discussion with UMaine Extension staff and members. Fossel will also give a talk about the farm’s educational programs and their partners with a focus on community engagement, sustainable agriculture and support of the local food system. The evening closes with a business meeting with time for public comments and questions.
Attendees are also invited to stay for the Dam Jam Fiddlers, who play a mix of New England Contra Dance, Quebecois, Irish, Scottish and old time tunes; starting at 7 p.m.
