Lincoln County Animal Shelter fundraisers at Savory Maine
Kelly Brook took her camera to Africa and managed to shoot dozens of stunningly beautiful photos of birds, elephants, hippos, lions, tigers, giraffes, etc., and then had the images digitally developed and processed onto metal, resulting in artwork with vibrancy and exquisite definition. These images of the wild animals in Botswana and Zimbabwe will be on exhibit from March 25 to May 4 at Savory Maine.
Brook is selling the pieces at affordable prices to benefit Edgecomb’s Lincoln County Animal Shelter. All proceeds from sales will go directly to the shelter to help defray the everyday rising costs of vet bills and to keep the shelter up to code on maintenance and repairs.
Two fundraisers are planned for the animal shelter at Savory Maine: a noon lunch on Tuesday, April 21 and on Friday, April 24, a dinner at 5:30 p.m. Brook will speak at both events.
Savory Maine is located at 11 Water Street in Damariscotta. For more information, call 207-563-2111, visit www.savorymainedining.com or its Facebook page.
