Lincoln County Democrats will have a full agenda for their meeting on Jan. 20.

One of the first orders of business will be the election of new officers of the Lincoln County Democratic Committee. Lisa Miller, current chairman, announced she is stepping down.

The guest speaker will be Phil Bartlett, newly elected chairman of the Maine State Democratic Party. Bartlett, a former state senate majority leader and member of the Democratic National Committee, is eager to meet and share ideas with Lincoln County Democrats.

All Lincoln County Democrats and supporters are invited, and those who were active in the fall campaigns are especially encouraged to attend and share their ideas. The meeting will be held in the Newcastle Community Room at the firehouse, 86 River Road on Jan. 20.

A social gathering will start at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start promptly at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
