The Lincoln County Republican Committee monthly meeting will be held at the Newcastle Community Center (Fire Station), 86 River Road, Newcastle on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Our featured speaker will be James LaBrecque, Governor LePage’s Technical Advisor on Energy. He will be discussing the 40-year trend of legislation in Maine that has accumulated in skyrocketing electric bills. The Legislature sets payments to wind generators, solar generators, and to other special interest groups and those non-negotiated rates are a driver of rising electrical costs.
