Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 2 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 217 calls for service for the period of June 6 to June 13. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,800 calls for service.
Summonses
Garrett L. Prior, 22, of Bremen was issued a summons June 6 for Attaching False Plates, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Jason W. Davis, 48, of Augusta was issued a summons June 9 for Operating after License Suspension, on Waldoboro Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Zaida Perdomo, 30, of Bronx, New York was issued a summons June 12 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Arrests
Ashley E. Robinson, 48, of Alna was arrested June 6 for Violation of Conditional Release, on George Wright Road, Woolwich, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Dylan G. Russ, 21, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested June 9 for Domestic Violence Terrorizing, on McClintock Street, Boothbay Harbor, by Lt. Brendan Kane, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Accidents
On June 8, an accident occurred on Patterson Road in Dresden involving Wayne S. Belanger, 60, of Augusta. Mr. Belanger was operating his 2016 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound when he stated he lost traction on the wet road, causing his vehicle to go the roadway to the left and strike a tree, causing front damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On June 9, an accident occurred on Main Street in Newcastle involving Paul D. Mathews, 73, of Newcastle and Mary L. McDougle, 76, of Newcastle. Mr. Mathews was operating his 2020 Honda Odyssey northbound and was about to drive onto Academy Hill Road, when Ms. McDougle failed to yield and collided with him in her 2018 Jeep Wrangler. McDougle was crossing the intersection onto Mills Road when the crash occurred. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
