Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following: The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 277 calls for service for the period of Aug. 8, 2023 to Aug. 18, 2023, and Year to Date, LCSO has responded to 6972 calls for service.

RECENT SUMMONSES:

July 30, 2023, Elizabeth M. Ober, 20, of Westport Island was issued a summons for Furnishing a Place for Minors to Consume/Possess Liquor and Minor Consuming Liquor, on Cove Side Way, Westport Island, by Deputy Jerold Winslow, who was assisted by Deputy Owen Beattie.

July 30, 2023, Brett D. Smith, 19, of Walpole was issued a summons for Minor Consuming Liquor, on Cove Side Way, Westport Island, by Deputy Owen Beattie, who was assisted by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

July 30, 2023, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Bristol was issued a summons for Minor Consuming Liquor, on Cove Side Way, Westport Island, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

July 30, 2023, Eli S. Hankins, 20, of Machiasport was issued a summons for Minor Consuming Liquor, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

Aug. 8, 2023, Albert T. Peaslee, Jr., 40, of Dresden was issued a summons for Violating a Protection Order, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Ryan Chubbuck.

Aug. 10, 2023, Markus H. Russell, 22, of Boothbay Harbor was issued a summons for Assault, on Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Aug.11, 2023, Todd W. Bradstreet, 44, of Bristol was issued a summons for Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation, on Split Rock Road, South Bristol, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

Aug. 13, 2023, Joshua Kidder, 34, of Whitefield was issued a summons for Operating Motor Vehicle beyond Class Restriction, on Hunts Meadow Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.

RECENT ARRESTS:

Aug. 8, 2023,  Elliott Phylow, 30, of Hanover was arrested on a Sagadahoc District Court warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating after Suspension charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Ryan Chubbuck.

Aug. 9, 2023, Ali K. Hartley, 33, of Boothbay was arrested for Violating Condition of Release, on River Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Aug. 11, 2023, Aidan W. Stearns, 20, of Blue Hill was arrested for Operating under the Influence; Unlawful Use of License and Operating Vehicle without License, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

Aug. 12, 2023, Charlyn F. Foster, 45, of Bristol was arrested for Operating under the Influence, on Main Street, Damariscotta, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

RECENT ACCIDENTS:

Aug. 8, 2023, an accident occurred on Mills Road (Whitefield Market) in Whitefield involving Hayley Parlin, 58, of Whitefield and Melissa A. Thorton, 42, of Whitefield.  Ms. Thornton’s 2017 Volkswagen Jetta was parked, unoccupied, behind Ms. Parlin’s 2008 Ford F-150, in the parking lot of the Whitefield Market.  Ms. Parlin advised she began backing up and did not see Thornton’s vehicle, due to the low height of her vehicle.  As a result, Ms. Parlin struck Thornton’s vehicle in the front driver’s side.  Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 9, 2023, an accident occurred on Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor involving Andrew T. Strout, 56, of Lincolnville and Marie E. Schopper, 83, of Southport.  Mr. Strout was traveling eastbound when had stopped his 2011 Toyota 4Runner, with the intent of making a left turn into the Small Mall Parking lot.  Ms. Schopper was exiting the parking lot in her 2018 Ford Escape, intending to turn right, when she took too wide of a turn and struck Strout’s vehicle, which was stationary in its proper lane. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 10, 2023, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Michael P. Nozdrovicky, 59, of South Portland.  Mr. Nozdrovicky was operating his 2020 Subaru Forester southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the right and was struck, causing functional damage to his vehicle.  Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 10, 2023, an accident occurred on Mills Road in Newcastle involving Dana V. Ramsdell, 68, of Newcastle.  Mr. Ramsdell was operating his 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL-CLA northbound when he swerved to avoid a deer, causing him to go off the roadway on the right side, down an embankment, before coming to rest against a tree.  Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 11, 2023, an accident occurred on Fir Hollow Road in Bristol involving Prescott J. Cheney, 85, of Bristol and Nathan J. Crossley, 20, of Jefferson.   Mr. Crossley was operating his 2011 Hyundai Elantra northbound on Fir Hollow Road.  Mr. Cheney was operating his 2009 Toyota Tacoma, backing out of a driveway onto Fir Hollow Road, when he failed to yield the right of way to Crossley and backed into his vehicle.  Deputy Scott Solorzano was the investigating officer.
