Schooner Cove is hosting a lunch and learn to discuss the basics of Medicare on Friday, Sept. 8 at 11:30 a.m. in the library.

Come join us for lunch and to learn about the basics of Medicare from Anne Smith, Medicare Rights Advocate at Legal Services for the Elderly. Medicare is a complex system and you will learn what’s covered and what’s not; how to detect and report Medicare fraud; and improvements to Medicare as a result of Health Care Reform. In short, Anne will begin to unravel some of the mystery surrounding our national health care program.

Anne has years of experience educating people about Medicare and all its parts and pieces. Legal Services for the Elderly provides free, high-quality legal services to Maine's seniors.
