Lincoln County District Attorney Jon Liberman has announced that Katherine MacCrae has been sworn in as the new assistant district attorney working in Lincoln County.

Katherine resides in Freeport. She is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, class of 2017. Aside from her juris doctor, she has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Louisville.

Katherine is no stranger to working in Prosecutorial District 6 – she was a student attorney with the Sagadahoc DA’s office from September of 2016 through April of 2017. The quality of her work was outstanding, said Liberman.

“Her hard work, talents, and excellent grades were not overlooked by the judiciary, and she completed a clerkship for the Maine Supreme Judicial Court running from August of 2017 through August of 2018. I am thrilled to have her as a prosecutor in my district – I consider her an excellent candidate and I look forward to working with her,” said Liberman.
