Maine Art Gallery Members Show closes June 5
The Maine Art Gallery’s first show of the season offers a fine exhibition of 103 works by 33 very talented artists living in Midcoast Maine. Curators Jorge Pena and Colleen Kearney-Graffam asked the question, “What inspires you?” and the responses from each artist included several examples along with personal statements about their creative processes.
With just a few days left to view the exhibit, this is an opportunity to appreciate locally created art and bring it home at very affordable prices. The show continues Wednesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through June 5.
The Maine Art Gallery is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and preservation of painting, sculpture and graphic arts through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and educational programs for children and adults. In addition to the current exhibit, the gallery offers art classes in June and July and an ongoing online auction through June 15.
Sherri Dunbar of Tim Dunham Realty is the Maine Art Gallery season sponsor.
