Maine Art Gallery seeks volunteer gallery managers
The rejuvenated Maine Art Gallery Wiscasset seeks art lovers who would like to volunteer their time to introduce gallery visitors to the work of local artists. Located in the historic Wiscasset Academy, the gallery offers a bright, open space for viewing art as well as an enjoyable space to spend an afternoon.
Wiscasset has so much to offer the summer visitors, and giving them an opportunity to view art by Mainers is essential to keeping our community vibrant. Anyone who wishes to be a part of this effort is urged to contact Jorge Pena at 882-4155 or jepena@ufl.edu.
The Maine Art Gallery is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and preservation of painting, sculpture and graphic arts through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and educational programs for children and adults.
