A memorial service for Katharine "Kitty" Brown, who died on July 12, 2013 in Nobleboro, will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 17 at the Second Congregational Church in Newcastle. A reception will follow the service, also at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 7, Edgecomb, ME 04556.
