Minimal COVID-19 updates provided Nov. 28
AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has updated its list, Nov. 28, of COVID-19 cases in the state of Maine — sort of.
Each morning, the Maine CDC updates its COVID-19 data on its website with the latest coronavirus numbers from across the state.
However, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, not all information was not updated.
One data table updated was hospitalizations: there are presently 119 hospitalized, including 51 in critical care and 15 on a ventilator.
Another piece of data updated was deaths: one new death was recorded to bring the statewide cumulative total to 191.
Recoveries, cumulatively since March, increased from 8,800 to 8,822.
“Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, some data updates will not be available between Thursday, November 26, and Sunday, November 29,” the Maine CDC website denotes, though regular updates were provided Nov. 26.
