The Morris Farm will hold its annual Thanksgiving Community Potluck dinner on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 156 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset. The Morris Farm supplies the turkeys, dressing, gravy and a few other fixings. There will also be a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and a little musical accompaniment. Participants bring all the rest: salads, vegetable dishes, desserts and drinks, as well as plates and utensils if they can. The Morris Farm welcomes the entire community to help us give thanks for all we have received this year. We are fortunate to have forged relationships with many in our community who value what the Morris Farm contributes. And we just want to say thanks: Thanks to the Master Gardeners Program who this year grew over 800 pounds of produce to contribute to the Boothbay Region Food Pantry, to the Wiscasset school system for its help thoughout the year, to our community gardens participants, to the Bowdoin College students who donated work days to help with maintenance, to the Morris Farm Store vendors, our farm educator, our AmeriCorps/Vista volunteer for work on food security, our Board of Directors, and all of those who have donated time and money to the mission of the Morris Farm.
